Adam Butcher plays Andrew.
Born and raised in Cambridge, Ontario, Adam Butcher began his acting career in 2001 when he won the lead role as 11-year-old Rupert Patterson in the YTV series Super Rupert. He made his feature debut in the award-winning film Saint Ralph, alongside Jennifer Tilly and Gordon Pinsent, which garnered him a Genie Award nomination and Young Artist Award nomination for Best Actor in a Feature Film.
Soon after, Butcher joined the Canadian cast of The Movie Network’s mini-series Terminal City. Adam was soon after chosen by Gordon Pinsent to star in his MOW, Heyday! He has appeared in numerous television productions such as: Terry, Regenesis, Angela’s Eyes, Across the River to Motor City, Life with Derek, Overruled!, Flashpoint, The Bridge, Unnatural History, Republic of Doyle, Falling Skies, Combat Hospital, The Listener, Murdoch Mysteries, Cracked and the highly acclaimed Bomb Girls.
Butcher’s stars in the independent film, The Bend as well as the sci-fi feature Hellhounds directed by Rick Schroeder. Adam also stars as “Butch” in the Tribeca Film Festival winning film, Dog Pound. Adam’s newest film premiered at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival, The Lesser Blessed starring Benjamin Bratt.
Yet to be released work includes sci-fi features Debug, directed by David Hewlett and Wolves, directed by David Hayter.
Beginning Thursday, October 3, 2013, 10 PM watch Adam as undercover policeman Jesse Calvert in CTV’s hour long dramatic series Played.
